Our Story
Kristy was born and raised in Fargo, ND however, her family immigrated from Vietnam after the Vietnam war and settled in the Fargo - Moorhead area in the 1990's. She graduated from NDSU and has a minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management! With her mother's help she combines traditional and modern Vietnamese flavors in all of her dishes. Saigon Kuisine makes all of their foods from scratch and does not skip on bold flavors! She is so excited for this new journey and can not wait to open her own restaurant in the future!
For now Saigon Kuisine is doing pop up shops, food truck events, and the local farmer's markets (red river market) to help spread the word about how amazing Vietnamese food is! We offer catering options if you'd like to place an order for a birthday party, wedding, small gatherings, etc. please message us at least one week ahead!
What is Vietnamese Food?
Despite the varied landscape of Vietnam, all of the cuisine contains this brilliant balance of aromatics, heat, sweetness, sourness, and fish-sauciness. As with other Asian cuisines, it's all about the yin and yang; the sweet and the salty, the cooling and the warming, the fresh and the fermented. That's what makes Vietnamese food so delicious and well balanced!

We refuse to compromise on quality at our business. That's why we source our fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets. No matter what time of year, you can be sure you're eating the best of the season! We support other small businesses as well and take pride in supporting local vendors!
